Virgo is upon us and we present to you an all-vinyl mix of high speed underground and esoteric hard/ core/ tek/ step curated by Bay Area artist Article C.
With both his Sun and Mars in Virgo, his selections begin with a mind bend and are recorded battle style on two 1200s through a Rane TTM57, never resting and refining the aspects of his offerings.
Article C (one of his many monikers) has appeared at Mutek SF, Recombinant Fest and has hosted various undergrounds over the years. After a hiatus his Parhelia EP was released in late July.
Always conceptual, Article C’s visual communication of flashing collaged imagery (or stills) in live performances and artwork adds to the sort of visual meets physical and emotional energy flow — as if being projected from his own Virgo mind.
